Essential facts

• Free trial - if decision "to hire or not to hire" Actimind is a matter of a live trial, we may complete a reasonable part of the job for the client's consideration. The client may then purchase this result and move forward, or choose other way to proceed with the project.
  
  
• Contract types - it's up to the client. We work with both "fixed cost" and "time and materials" types of the contract. In some cases, for a new and promising venture, we also offer "part cash - part equity" dealing approach (requires business evaluation procedures)
  
  
• Documentation - we provide our clients with user guides and technical documentation, in accordance with the desired level of details
  
  
• Communications - We provide online project specification, time and status day reports within sustainable communication environment. Our clients have direct 24/7 access to all project data and artifacts.
  
  
• Collaboration - our process is completely transparent and client oriented. A person (or group of people) appointed for the project coordination from the client's side works with dedicated project manager and may communicate directly with each member of Actimind team, working on the project.
  
  
• Late changes accommodation - for some complex projects (mid-size, long-term) with time-based contracts, changes in specifications and requirements designed in the preliminary stages are inevitable. We accommodate up to 7% scope changes for free. For more than 7% changes we provide a discounted price per time unit.
  
  
• Warranty - providing strong focus on security, reusability, quality control and scalability of the developing software, we give 180-day warranty for any developed project
  
  
• One-year post-production support - if the project was built with the use of independently developing software solution (database, common using library, some freeware or open source product, etc.) we will provide our client with free updates and deployment service on-demand during the first year after production

Development Methodology

Our approach to the work is based on the adherence to a highly organized and predefined methodology based on Rational Unified Process (RUP) and our ability to roll up sleeves and get the job done.
